Jagapathi Babu’s Gayam 2 ready for release

Ram Gopal Varma made Gayam in 1993 with Jagapathi babu as the protagonist and the film was a runaweay hit at the box office. Now, a shishya of RGV, Pravin Sri has created a script for a sequel to the film which was approved by RGV who is also producing the film and Pravin has been directing. The shooting of Gayam 2 has been completed and the post-production work is in progress.

Gayam 2 is said to take off from where Gayam ended and so not many actors of the original will be seen in the sequel. However, Revathi and Kota Srinivasa Rao play important roles. The female lead is played by Vimala Raman.
