Oscar and Grammy award winner AR Rahman’s eldest daughter Khatija Rahman has lent her voice to the opening track ‘O Mara Manishi..’ in
‘Robo’. While she sang this song with the legendary singer SP Balasubrahmaniam and D Srinivas in Telugu, the same was sung by her along with her dad AR Rahman and SPB in ‘Endhiran’ in Tamil. The lyrics for the Telugu song were written by Suddala Ashok Teja and for the Tamil song by Vairamuttu. This is Khatija’s first song as a play back singer and she will have a brighter future. Yes, indeed, it’s already starting.
