Kalyan Ram’s Movie Title "Katti"

Kalyan Ram’s current film tentative tile is considered as Katti by director Malli.But producer Danayya had already registered the title. So, NTR Arts, that produces Kalyan Ram’s current film has decided to go Mahesh Babu’s way - like what producer C Kalyan did for Mahesh Babu’s film. When some other producer registered Khaleja title and the said producer refused to give the name to them, producer C Kalyan went ahead and named it as Mahesh Khaleja.Taking cue from this, Kalyan Ram has decided to do the same by putting Kalyan Ram’s name - Kalyan Ram Katti. But to their dismay, they came to know that film chamber no longer accepts such prefixes. Just couple of days back, Film Chamber has put a new rule that if a similar sounding title comes, the producers should bring No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the producer who originally registers it.

Per example: if a producer registered a title like Trupti first. And if another producer comes and tries to register Shakeela Trupti, he should bring NOC letter from ‘Trupti’ producer.

Kalyan Ram is now in fix and is on the look out for another title. So his new film is not Katti.

Rana Replaces Ram in "Oosaravelli"!.

Director Surender Reddy has finally zeroed on in Rana after much brainstorm. Soon after the blockbuster Kick, Surender Reddy planned two films one with Mahesh Babu and another with Ram. His film with Mahesh Babu titled Mr.Perfect will only take place in 2011. So before that he wanted to start another film, Oosaravelli, with Ram as hero. But the movie’s script has gone several changes and finally it had its launch few months ago. Then after the script change, he titled it as Ram and Genny. But few months later, producer Sravanthi Ravikishore and Surender Reddy have decided to drop the project, as it is no longer viable due to budget constraints. So the hit director has toyed with several ideas but finally has decided to revive his pet script Oosaravelli and zeroed on Rana who made debut with Leader.

Buzz is that producer Bujji, who is lying low these days after Konchem Istam Konchem Kastam, is producing it. Rana who is also trying hard to finalise his second film in Telugu after his proposed film with Selva Raghavan dropped is happy that Surender Reddy has chosen him. Source:TeluguCinema

Miffed with the media reports that she is planning to quit from films, Nayanatara said she soon would be accepting more films in Tamil and Telugu. Off late there have been rumors that the actress is planning to get married to her lover Prabhudeva this year-end and she is not signing any new movies.

“I am currently busy with Kannada and Malayalam films. Once I finish them, I would sign some more projects in Tamil and Telugu. I don’t want to comment on my personal life, though,” she said. “From the inception of the idea of wanting to make ‘Raktha Charitra’ till the point of me taking the last shot was an incredible journey for both my mind the way it started perceiving and understanding the research material and then also how it studied the minds of the various involved parties.” Ram Gopal Varma posted on his blog.

Ram Gopal Varma further opines that he never ever felt exhilarated for a last shot in his career, than to ‘Raktha Charitra’, which gave him a strange mixture of both release and relief.

Ram Gopal Varma’s Rakta Charitra is a political drama focusing on the life of assassinated Ananatpur Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA Paritala Ravi.

Rakta Charitra will be made in 2 parts Rakta Charitra I and Rakta Charitra II, since Ram Gopal Varma’s opines that one part will not do justice to the movie given its dramatic content. And both the Rakta Charitra I and Rakta Charitra II will be released in a gap of three months.

Vivek Oberoi plays the role of Parithala Ravi and Suriya plays Maddelacheruvu Suri, his rival. Priyamani plays Suriya’s wife. And Shatrughan Sinha plays former late AP Chief Minister NTR.

Telugu 'Happy Days' as Inidhu Inidhu in Tamil

Veteran Actor now turned producer Prakash Raj who produced many hit films in Tamil, of late has been buying the remake rights of several Telugu films. While he recently bought the Tamil remake rights of Deva Katta’s ‘Prasthanam’, he launched the audio of ‘Inidhu Inidhu’ (a Tamil remake of Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Happy Days) on other hand. Nagarjuna to do Complete Entertainer Flick!.

Director Srinivasa Reddy, known for his series of successful comedy flicks, is to direct Nagarjuna for the RR Movie Makers banner, which brought out films like Kick and the yet to be released Don Seenu. Producer Venkat said that it had been his long-cherished dream to do a film with Nagarjuna and that it had come true now. “We are going to present the film in such a manner that had never been shown earlier in the career of Nagarjuna. We told the subject to him and he was greatly impressed with it. For the first time, Nagarjuna will be engaged in a full-length comedy.”

Reddy, whose hits include Adirindayya Chandram, Tata Birla Madyalo Laila and Yamagola Malli Modalaindhi, said that he would finalize the cast and crew soon. Oscar and Grammy award winner AR Rahman’s eldest daughter Khatija Rahman has lent her voice to the opening track ‘O Mara Manishi..’ in ‘Robo’. While she sang this song with the legendary singer SP Balasubrahmaniam and D Srinivas in Telugu, the same was sung by her along with her dad AR Rahman and SPB in ‘Endhiran’ in Tamil. ‘Gaayam 2’ completing its Climax

Gaayam’ sequel is ‘Gaayam 2’ is presently being filmed under the production of RGV.Vimala Raman is playing for its sequel and is being directed by RGV’s student Praveen Sri.
