Bollywood awestruck by Endhiran - Robo Hindi Version

It’s Endhiran ruling the roost on silver screens in Bollywood. Last 2 weeks have been really effective for Endhiran - Robo Hindi version.

In fact, Robo trailers have been aired consistently across all Bollywood channels and it seems that Robo has become the second best popular trailer. Robo trailers have become a huge it that all silver screen channels like MTV, B4U and Sony are time and again airing Robo trailers.

While Salman Khan’s Dabang was voted the best Hindi movie trailer, Rajinikanth Endhiran – Robo Hindi version has become the second most popular amongst Bollywood audience.

Bommarillu Bhaskar directs Karthi

Tamil hero Karthi and Telugu movie director Bommarillu Bhaskar are coming together for an outright Telugu cinema. Karthi, has claim to fame in Telugu cinema through movies like Yuganiki Okkadu and Aawaara (dubbed versions). Karthi even dubbed his own voice in Telugu for Aawara.

It seems that Bommarillu Bhaskar was impressed with Karthi looks and performance. And as such, Bhaskar has decided to cast Karthi for his next Telugu movie. This Karthi Bommarillu Bhaskar movie will be produced by BVSN Prasad and would be released in Tamil. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music.

On the flip side, Bommarillu Bhaskar is currently wrapping up Ram Charan’s Orange, also starring Genelia. Perhaps Bhaskar would take up Karthi movie, once he finishes Ram Charan Orange.

Endhiran Hindi Audio Rights

Music label Venus has acquired the Hindi audio rights of the eagerly awaited Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai starrer, “Endhiran” from Sun Pictures, a division of Sun TV Network.

“It can’t get bigger than this! Rajinikanth, Aishwarya Rai, A.R. Rahman and Shankar (director) will create history with the blockbuster film ‘Endhiran’,” Champak Jain of Venus Records & Tapes said in a statement.

“Touted as one of the most expensive films with a heavy dose of special effects, its melodious music and sensational songs will take fans by storm. Venus is synonymous with good music and this prestigious project is a feather in our cap,” he added.

The audio launch of the trilingual science fiction film that is expected to release in the last week of August, will take place Saturday in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Oscar winning music maestro A.R. Rahman will give a special performance on the momentous occasion and Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan is expected to attend the function.

Directed by S. Shankar, “Endhiran” will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

Vijay, Simbu and Maddy In 3 Idiots Remake

In the recent times, it’s all about 3 Idiots remake in tinsel town that has been making high waves in Kollywood. With Gemini Film Productions signing Shankar to wield megaphones for both Tamil and Telugu version, the details about actors performing lead characters wasn’t confirmed.

Now the closer sources have revealed that the film will have Vijay, Silambarasan, and Madhavan will be playing the lead roles. Mahesh Babu will take on the lead role of “Rancho’ in Telugu version with both Simbhu and Maddy repeating their roles. Boman Irani’s character of a rigid professor will be played by Sathyaraj.

It’s worth mentioning that Sathyaraj was previously approached by Shankar to play the negative character in Rajnikanth starrer Sivaji – The Boss.

Well, the ardent buffs of A. R. Rahman may be disappointed as the academy award winner will not score music for this film as he is busy with global tour and is signing some international projects. Harris Jayaraj, who scored music for Shankar’s Anniyan will join hands with him for the second time.

Harris Jayaraj is been roped in for Shankar ‘3 idiots’ Tamil and Telugu remake. This is Shankar’s first remake film and Gemini Film Circuit is producing the bilingual movie (Tamil and Telugu).

Shankar is on the verge of finalizing all the crew for his ‘3 idiots’ Tamil and Telugu remake. Mahesh Babu is already confirmed as hero in Telugu ‘3 idiots’ remake, while Vijay is doing the same role in Tamil ‘3 idiots’. Abburi Ravi has been confirmed for the dialogues in Telugu ‘3 idiots’ remake and now Music director Harris Jayaraj has been okayed to compose music for this ‘3 idiots’ Tamil and Telugu remake.

Harris Jayaraj earlier composed music for blockbuster ‘Aparichitudu’, directed by Shankar. Also, Manoj Paramhamsa, who earlier received acclamation for his work in ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’, is now the cameraman.
