‘Shakti’ in Hyderabad from Aug 27

Jr. NTR ‘Shakti’ shooting for Hyderabad schedule would resume from Aug 27. NTR is currently busy working with director Vamsi Paidipally for ‘Brindavanam’.

Speaking on the ‘Shakti’ movie developments, the makers said that ‘Shakti’ unit has just concluded a hectic North India shooting schedule, where the ‘Shakti’ was shot in locations like Ladak, Kulu Manali, Haridwar, etc.  Scenes ad songs were shot between NTR and Ileana during this North India schedule. The film even left to Egypt for aboard schedule.

‘Shakti’ movie producer Ashwini Dutt said that his Vyjayanthi Movies banner has not produced any Telugu movie in their past 35 years as costly as NTR ‘Shakti’. In fact, NTR ‘Shakti’ is directed by Meher Ramesh of ‘Kantri’ and ‘Billa’ fame. Ashwini Dutt further said that ‘Shakti’ would be a milestone in NTR’s Telugu cinema career.

Jackie Shroff, Puja Bedi and Sonu Sood are playing important characters. Sameer Reddy is the cameraman and Mani Sharma is composing the music.

NTR’s latest film, Shakti, that is being produced by Aswini Dutt under Meher Ramesh direction completed Kulu Manali schedule and the unit is back in Hyderabad. NTR is back with Brindavanam team that is in the last leg of production. Next schedule of Shakti will be started from 27th August in Hyderabad.

Aswini Dutt says that this film is the biggest budget film in Telugu cinema history. ‘This will be a landmark film in NTR’s career. Shakti is the prestigious venture in 35 years history of Vyjayanthi banner,” he said. Ileana is playing the female lead in this film. Prabhu, Jackie Shroff, Sonu Sood, Pooja Bedi are doing other key roles. Manisharma is scoring the music.

‘Shakti’ completes shoot in Manali

NTR ‘Shakti’ movie completes shooting in Kulu Manali. ‘Shakti’ unit came here a fortnight back to shoot some important sequences after completing a busy Ladakh schedule.

NTR will now be heading to Haridwar tomorrow for a two day schedule, and later would return back to Hyderabad August 5.

NTR tweeted, “Done with my tiring days in manali..gonna shift to haridwar tom..will shoot there for two days..then back to hyd on the 5th.”

Shakti’ is directed by Meher Ramesh of ‘Kantri’ fame and produced by Ashwini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies banner. Already the expectations are running high for this high budget movie. Sonu Sood, Kamasutra model Pooja Bedi and Bollywood hero Jackie Shroff are also featuring in this movie.  Also, ‘Shakti’ movie has Supestar Krishna and Vijay Nirmala. Ileana is playing the female lead in ‘Shakti’.

The dialogues are written by Satyanand, Photography by Sameer Reddy, while Mani Sharma is scoring the music. Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor and story by Yendamuri Veerendranath.

NTR ‘Shakti’ is tipped to be a socio-fantasy film releasing in December 2010 or for 2011 Sankranti.

"I am Lucky To act with NTR"-Samantha

 

Samantha, who plays the role of Indu in the film Brindavanam, dumped heaps of admiration for her hero NTR. Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, Samantha said that she virtually forgot her name was Samantha, as her new colleagues and fans started calling her `Jessy` (name of the character which she played in Ye Maya Chesave).

The heroine said that she never expected she would be making her second film with NTR. “Each and every step that he takes, and the way he delivers the dialogues is a wonder. The people on the sets would get inspired at his stamina. He is like an answer without a question. I watched his blockbusters like Adhurs, Yamadonga, Student No1 and Aadi, which helped me to understand his work style.”

Samantha says that she still couldn’t believe herself as she is set to work with Mahesh Babu in the coming film. “Though I am getting a number of offers, I am very strict about my choice of the hero, director and producer.”

Referring to her movie with Mahesh Babu, she declined to give any details, saying that she gave a word to director Seenu Vytla that she would speak nothing about the movie.
