South India’s top director Shankar is readying up for the remake of Bollywood blockbuster ‘3 Idiots’ into Tamil and Telugu. In Tamil, he will be remaking with Vijay as main hero and in our Telugu, he has zeroed on in superstar Mahesh Babu. Buzz is that in other roles, he would be selecting actors who are familiar to both Tamil and Telugu audiences. Now question is who would be playing the female lead in both the versions.
Sources told that Shankar is in favour of roping Ileana for both the versions. He reportedly had a word with Ileana already who is currently shooting for NTR’s Shakti. Ileana too is excited at the chances of working under direction of Shankar but she is not revealing anything. Both Mahesh Babu and Ileana look damn hot as pair on screen. Remember their blockbuster Pokiri.
It would be her first film with Vijay in Tamil, she is chosen for the role. Trisha is also in the race but Ileana has edge over her.
First it was rahman’s son Ameen and the film was Couples Retreat and now its Music Maestro’s daughter Khatija and the film is the most awaited film of the year ‘Robot/Endhiran.’ Yes, rahman has reportedly managed to get his daughter Khatija to croon a few lines for a number in his ‘Robot,’ the audio of which releases in Malaysia today. This song will be sung by the Mozart of Madras himself and Rajini’s evergreen singer SP Balasubramaniam. The album is bound to be a treat for rahman fans who will also get to listen to some melody tracks such as ‘Kilimanjaro...’ which has been sung by Javed Ali and Chinmayi and a romantic duet. ‘Robot’ marks the return of the ‘Sivaji’ superhit combo of Rajini, Shankar and rahman. Just like his offering in Sivaji, ‘Robot’ too will feature a rap number City dance showcase that has been sung by Yogi B,Praveen Mani and Pradeep Vijay.
