Komaram Puli Audio Sales Created New Records In South India

Komaram Puli’ is coming up in the combination of Pawan Kalyan-SJ Suryah that earlier gave a super hit film ‘Kushi’. This movie is produced by Singanamala Ramesh under Kanakaratna Movies banner with music by double Oscar award winner AR Rahman. The grand audio launch of ‘Komaram Puli’ took place amidst many top film personalities and Mega Power Star fans. The audio CDs were sold like hot cakes as soon as it hit the market. So far 3 lakh CDs were sold and broke all audio sales records.

Interesting point to be noted is the audio sales broke the records even in Tamil Nadu, the reason being the crazy combination of Pawan Kalyan and AR Rahman. This apart, the audio created records in digital ring tones, Amaajan, iTunes downloads, etc. The most interesting aspect is ‘Komaram Puli’ audio creating such records even when piracy evil is existing. Now everyone are eager to see the box office records of this film.

Speaking to the media producer Singanamala Ramesh said, “We have received stupendous response for the audio of ‘Komaram Puli’ that is in the combination of Pawan Kalyan-SJ Suryah-AR Rahman. I’m very happy about the records the audio is creating right now.”

Nikeesha Patel is debuting as heroine opposite Pawan Kalyan and Manoj Bajpai will be seen in a key role. This audio is being marketed by Sony music company. Since Rahman’s music is made of very high quality standard, the Sony Music Company is kindly requesting everyone not to encourage piracy.

Roping ileana in ‘3 Idiots’?

South India’s top director Shankar is readying up for the remake of Bollywood blockbuster ‘3 Idiots’ into Tamil and Telugu. In Tamil, he will be remaking with Vijay as main hero and in our Telugu, he has zeroed on in superstar Mahesh Babu. Buzz is that in other roles, he would be selecting actors who are familiar to both Tamil and Telugu audiences. Now question is who would be playing the female lead in both the versions.

Sources told that Shankar is in favour of roping Ileana for both the versions. He reportedly had a word with Ileana already who is currently shooting for NTR’s Shakti. Ileana too is excited at the chances of working under direction of Shankar but she is not revealing anything. Both Mahesh Babu and Ileana look damn hot as pair on screen. Remember their blockbuster Pokiri.

It would be her first film with Vijay in Tamil, she is chosen for the role. Trisha is also in the race but Ileana has edge over her.
