Dabangg - Salman Khan Celebrates

Dabangg movie took the Bollywood by storm and Salman Khan is all happy for the Dabangg collections. The movie netted more than 100 crores in the first 10 days and has all the previous Bollywood movies record tumbling.

And the aftermath - Salman Khan is partying hard tonight at his Juhu residence, Mumbai. It seems that the guest list was so big that brother Arbaaz Khan was compelled to break the list into two divisions for on back to back nights.

Tonight, first division guest list comprise of people who are directly or indirectly associated to Dabangg movie. The second list has people from the Bollywood industry.

Says Arbaaz Khan, "Since the guest list as big, we've decided to split into two halves. My team is on the job of inviting all the guests".

Also, Sallu Bhai is back on Twitter after making his remarks on the 26/11 terror attack on Mumbai. But he's back with Dabangg (The Bang) and started updating about his and Dabangg developments.

Also, Emami has reached an out-of-court settlement with Arbaaz Khan Production for the use of words Zandu Balm over Munni badnaam hui song. And now, it looks like Emami is planning cast Malaika Arora Khan as brand ambassador for Zandu Balm to cash in.

So all's going great for Salman - No wonder he's partying hard!

Salman Khan Dabangg collects 106.24 crores

Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha starrer Dabangg creates history. Initially, Dabangg makers thought that the movie would appeal only to the masses, but much to their surprise, the movie even tapped the class audience.

Dabangg created history in Indian cinema collecting 106.24 crore in the 1st 10 days – that’s mind boggling. And not surprising if these numbers are for Salman Khan.

Till recently, Arbaaz Khan and Salman Khan extremely busy promoting Dabangg and now they’re starting to celebrate the success of Dabangg

Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor in ‘Bodyguard’

Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor are coming together for a movie Bodyguard, a Hindi remake of super hit Malayalam film ‘Bodyguard’. Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri will be overseeing this movie. This is the third time Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor are coming together after ‘Kyon Ki’ and ‘Main Aur Mrs Khanna’.

Initially, it seems that Atul Agnihotri approached Katrina Kaif for the female lead, but she failed to give her dates. However, Atul is poised to release the film for Eid next year. As such, Arul approached Kareena, who’s dates are matching with Salman Khan.

But why did Atul chose Salman and Kareena since the pair already delivered two flops, Atul said, “Thins would boil down to the movie and audience perception. We cannot blame the pair for the flops and who knows, they might be lucky third time around”.

Amitabh Bachchan win Best Actor National Award for ‘Paa’

Amitabh Bachchan won the Best Actor Award for “Paa" and 3 Idiots" won the Best Popular Movie. Malayalam movie “Kutty Srank" bagged 5 awards at the 57th National Awards for 2010.

Big B Amitabh Bachchan scored a hat-trick winning his third Best Actor award (two National Awards, for 'Agneepath' and ‘Hum’) at the 57th National Film Awards. Ananya Chaterjee won the Best Actress award for 'Aabo Hawa' while Rituparno Ghosh has been adjudged Best Director.

Amitabh Bachchan won the National Award for his role of a child suffering with a rare disorder - progeria - in 'Paa'. And '3 Idiots' won three awards - Best Popular Film, Best Director and Best Producer.

Endhiran release postponed?

Looks like Endhiran – Robot movie release will be postponed once again. Superstar Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai starrer Endhiran – Robot movie release has already had unprecedented expectations and further procrastination in the movie release might come in as a disappointment for the fan base.

Rajinikanth is meeting all top politicians and cinema celebrities in the country and inviting them for his second daughter’s marriage. Even Rajinikanth’s wife is also moving alongside and overseeing all lavish arrangements. Rajinikanth second daughter marriage is expected to take place in September and the star couple is very occupied in this connection.

All arrangements are being made for Endhiran – Robot movie release on November 5th, 2010 - for Diwali. There are also reports that Sun Pictures are trying hard to release Robo in September, but director Shankar has asked them for some time it seems to release the movie.

He has been concentrating on his production house that is producing three films at a time. Deepika Padukone ‘Break Ke Baad’ shooting done

Deepika Padukone and Imran Khan’s ‘Break Ke Baad’ has completed shooting formally today. ‘Break Ke Baad’ is directed by debutant Danish Aslam and co- produced by Reliance BIG Pictures and Kunal Kohli Productions.

Danish had earlier worked under Kunal Kohli for movies like 'Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic', 'Faana' and worked with Yash Raj Films on 'Ta Ra Rum Pum' and 'Salaam Namaste'.

Sharmila Tagore is playing Deepika Padukone's mother in ‘Break Ke Baad’, while Shahana Goswami and Yudi of Channel V fame are doing some important roles.

‘Break Ke Baad’ music is scored by Vishal Shekhar and Lyrics by Prasoon Joshi. While Andre Menezes is the director of photography, Anand Subaya takes care of editing. ‘Break Ke Baad' is expected to release in November 26, 2010.
