Amitabh Bachchan win Best Actor National Award for ‘Paa’

Amitabh Bachchan won the Best Actor Award for “Paa" and 3 Idiots" won the Best Popular Movie. Malayalam movie “Kutty Srank" bagged 5 awards at the 57th National Awards for 2010.

Big B Amitabh Bachchan scored a hat-trick winning his third Best Actor award (two National Awards, for 'Agneepath' and ‘Hum’) at the 57th National Film Awards. Ananya Chaterjee won the Best Actress award for 'Aabo Hawa' while Rituparno Ghosh has been adjudged Best Director.

Amitabh Bachchan won the National Award for his role of a child suffering with a rare disorder - progeria - in 'Paa'. And '3 Idiots' won three awards - Best Popular Film, Best Director and Best Producer.

Best Producer - Vidhu Vinod Chopra for '3 Idiots'

Best Feature Film (Hindi) - 'Paa'

Best Popular Movie - '3 Idiots'

Best Film on Social Issues - 'Well Done Abba'

Best National Integration Film - 'Delhi 6'

Best Feature Film (Marathi) – 'Natarang'

Best Special Effects - Kamal Kannan for Magadheera
(Telugu)

Special Jury Award - Editor Sreekar Prasad
